Using ink and nib pen

This was a first for me and the above is based on a photograph I found on Instagram.

Was watching a video of Roman Muradov working and he uses ink pens a lot and uses his fingers and other objects to move the ink around to create textures and shapes and I really enjoyed doing that.

The downside though is the nib felt too scratchy for me ( was only £2.99) and the consistency of line was not great which meant the whole process was really quite slow and unpredictable.

Will try again and was worth the sub £10 investment in both ink and pen but will maybe wear gloves to keep black ink from staining me for days.
