Christy Turlington inspired sketch

I took 'inspiration' for this from a photograph of Christy Turlington from @90sretrofashion IG account. I appreciate this violates all kinds of copyright but I am not trying to do anything with this image, other than using it as a practice.

Using the original photograph as a lower opacity layer in Procreate, I again created selections and filled them in with the Nikko roll brush again. This time I used a blue that would work with the creamy background I had already created.

Not sure the lips completely work but overall, super happy and again could see this as a poster. Maybe in the future I can create original photographs to do this affect to or even better create sketch drawings of my own origin to do this too. Really feel that by working through these exercises I am getting a better sense of dark and light. All important skills.

Reduced the opacity under the chin and am super happy with the way that this works. So another element for me to add to my arsenal to add interest to a very monochromatic image. So happy with this one.

Could really see this as a screen print but also interested to know if I could make it work as a lino print too.
