So yesterday I tackled making a mindmap of all I want to use my sketchbook for. Been putting it off for a few days having started it a week or so ago.

Sketchbook development feels fundamental to me in this process and its something I have always struggled with. Think I've said this before, they have always felt like an additional task rather than an integral part of the proces.

So this time that's going to change.

I now view my sketchbook as my laboratory. My place for research and experiments and for questioning and problem solving. My sketchbook is an extension of my desk where I carry all of my notes, my roughs, my hypothesis' - its all centred around this one thing. Everything goes into the sketchbook, everything evolves from the sketchbook.

So heres my initial mindmap - this will surely alter over time.
